YIN YOGA

FRIDAY MORNING, APRIL 28

We invite you to begin the day with body nourishment and self-care. Yin Yoga is a series of longer-held postures done on the floor that facilitates ease, space, and deep release in the body’s connective tissues. It's designed for all-levels class and no yoga experience required. It increases range of motion, heals injuries, calms the nervous system and mind. Yin Yoga is often described as a deep tissue, full-body massage; physical therapy; acupressure; like hitting the reset button; psychotherapy; meditation; good for the soul; blissful - like all types of self-care therapies rolled into one.

Bari Ablon Campbell's yoga journey began in 2002.  She is a Certified Yoga Instructor with over 500 hours of training and over 7,000 hours of teaching. She teaches Vinyasa Yoga (power/flow); Hot Yoga (a.k.a. Bikram); Yoga with Weights; Yin Yoga (restorative); Yoga for Athletes; and Yoga, Exercises, and Tai Chi for People with Parkinson’s Disease and other mobility concerns. She is grateful to have trained and studied with Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers, Bikram, Rod Stryker, Ana Forrest, and Gary Sobol among others. Bari teaches at studios; leads workshops and teacher trainings;  and also works privately with individuals, groups, parties, corporations, and athletic teams.  Her goal in teaching yoga is for each person to find exactly what their body, mind or soul needs.

CRAFTING YOUR INSPIRED LIFE

FRIDAY EVENING, APRIL 28

We carefully craft so many things in life – retirement plans, business strategies, school lunches, creative projects – but can often leave the crafting of life itself to chance. In this special self-care event, we’ll dig in to your deep desires and values so that you can become the conscious creator of your own inspired life. Each guest will also have the opportunity to create a special piece of artwork using beautiful papers to serve as a reminder and guide.

Elizabeth Winheld – entrepreneur, marketing mentor and certified coach – is a champion for sustainable entrepreneurship and authentic living. After almost a decade building a 6-figure design business, she left it behind (with two small children in toe) in pursuit of a deeper sense of freedom, purpose and connection. Elizabeth now empowers other women to build beautiful businesses that truly serve them, to become their most powerful, authentic selves and to settle for nothing less than extraordinary lives. gentle hatha/restorative yoga

SATURDAY MORNING, APRIL 29

In this class we will balance the energies of the mind with those of the body through asanas, controlled breathing and calming the mind with meditation and relaxation.  This class is suitable for all levels including new students to yoga.

Mo Millstone began her yoga journey in 2011 to relieve muscle tension due to weight training and running. She discovered that yoga enlightened her not only physically, but also encouraged her mind/body connection that serves her to this day. Mo received her 200 hour Power Teaching Certification in 2015. Currently, she teaches Vinyasa, Restorative, Hatha, and Children’s yoga. In her classes, Mo encourages non-judgement of oneself, releasing tension both physically and mentally, and mindfulness.

AN EVENING CELEBRATING CREATIVE COMMUNITY

SATURDAY EVENING, APRIL 29

Sara is a mama, cook/baker/eater, meditator, failed knitter, traveller, aspiring gardener, yogi, and outdoorswoman. A love of books is in her blood—she is the co-owner (along with her brother, mother, and father) of Shambhala Publications, the company her father and mentor, Samuel Bercholz founded in 1969. Sara started Roost Books in 2012 as a means of bringing an enlightened perspective to domestic life (and as an excuse to think about food and other beautiful things all the time). Her two sons, Milo and Dashiell, never fail to bring excitement to the endless possibilities we wake up with every day.

Fancy Tiger Crafts is a revolutionary shop in Denver, Colorado that specializes in craft supplies and classes for the modern crafter. Owners Jaime Jennings and Amber Corcoran's vision is to inspire people to reach their crafting potential through modern and sustainable supplies and quality instruction. We believe that making things by hand makes people feel better and that if more people made things, the world would be a better place.
