Tiny Tuesday.
Although it’s not Tuesday as I write this, I have been sharing my favorite tiny finds on {most} Tuesdays on instagram for the past several years. #Tinytuesday is a beloved part of my week. My adoration for small things extends as far back as I can remember. As a little girl, the toys I loved most were always the itty bitty ones. My mom tells the story of my drawings being so tiny she could barely see them. I even loved the teeniest of the already miniature Hagen-Ranekar porcelain animals. Do you remember the ones that came glued to the little paper? I still have my collection. My mom saved them for me, gifting each one back to me as a birthday present one year. I felt like I unwrapped my childhood one petite animal at a time. I think a lot, and quite deeply, about my love for small things ~ and yours too. The love for miniatures in all forms is vast and wide. What I know for myself is that the greatest beauty lies in the smallest details. I notice everything around me differently when I pay attention to tiny ways. When I’m drenched in overwhelm, I feel saved by small matters. Tiny is the lens that guides my everyday, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
