My small edible flower garden is finally starting to bloom. With the exception of one starter, I grew everything from seed in the one raised bed in the only sunny spot in our yard.

No matter the weather, the seasons are always changing in our lives. Sometimes from minute to minute, others years in the making. This moment marks the newest season in my personal life as we send our daughter, my youngest, off to college.

I love the process of designing something new, especially in creative collaboration. The idea generation, the energy exchange, all of it! Working on this new web site design with the fantastic Cognoscenti Creative team has been incredible, and how grateful I am that they have embraced my love for the details.

As I was combing through what felt like my daughter’s entire childhood around her high school graduation, I stopped to  admire one of her early elementary writing assignments.
